July 2011

July has been a busy month which started off with the Provence ‘lavender’ workshop and then the opening of my new gallery in Curemonte.

Provence photo tour.

The weather was kind creating some dramatic stormy skies, a wonderful backdrop to the rows of lavender and Provencal villages. We covered a lot of ground during the week (nearly 2000 kms!), from the Valensole Plateau in the east to the villages of the Luberon in the West. Everyone was overwhelmed by the beauty of the region which provided endless photographic opportunities. See one of my favourite images below with others that feature in my galleries section. I will announce 2012 dates shortly.

Curemonte Gallery

With a prime location in the centre of the village, it is open every afternoon and with over 50,000 people visiting Curemonte every year, has a constant stream of visitors. All my images in the gallery are of the area (Correze,Lot,Dordogne) and are printed on Alu Dibond, which consist of 2 aluminium faces thermobonded to a solid polyethylene core. The photos look incredible and are for sale at only €99 for a 60X40. They are water resistant so can even be kept outside.
