Cappadocia Landscape Photography Workshop
Cappadocia Landscape extension – 3 days – 7-10 June 2020
Based in our beautiful cave hotel for another 3 nights, we’ll explore 3 different areas of Cappadocia; the Ihlara Valley, Sultan Marshes National Park and Goreme. There’s a huge variety of landscape to discover, and this area is in no small part responsible for inspiring me to follow a path in photography when I first visited over 30 years ago. The Ihlara valley is home to hundreds of old churches carved into the volcanic rock. Goreme, UNESCO protected, is a maze of volcanic rock-hewn churches and homes as well as the famous fairy chimneys. In sharp contrast, the marshlands are a sanctuary to over 300 bird species and are surrounded by high mountains.
