Dalmatian pelicans of Northern Greece Photography Workshop
7-11 January 2021
Lake Kerkini in Northern Greece has become a sanctuary for the Dalmatian pelicans and an important wintering site where they live peacefully alongside local fishermen. Winter is the perfect time to photograph the pelicans as they are in their breeding plumage and can be found in large numbers.
With the help of our english speaking guide, Nikolaos, we’ll be expertly guided around the lake on a boat and taken to some of the best shoreline locations.
Between shoots during this photography workshop, we’ll be based in a cozy hotel next to the lake where we can warm up and relax ready for the next photo session.
