Tulips fields of Holland Photography Workshop

The stunning fields of tulips, hyacinths and daffodils in the spring have to be seen to be believed. Rows and rows of the colourful flowers come to life in April across the Netherlands,  in particular in North Holland, where we will be based for the duration of this workshop.

During the trip, we'll explore the countryside north of Amsterdam in search of the most beautiful fields. The fields are replanted each year so are always changing but we'll do our very best to find an iconic windmill surrounded by flowers. We'll also visit the pretty villages of Zaanse Schans, De Rijp and Marken and, if time allows, we'll photograph the canals of Amsterdam lit up at night and Alkmaar cheese market.

A trip to Holland during tulip season wouldn't be complete without visiting the Keukenhof gardens. Over 7 million spring-flowering bulbs have been planted in unique patterns for visitors to enjoy. The compositions are endless! It's also a great opportunity to do some macro photography.
