 Friesian Horses Equine Photography Workshop

Friesian horses are the most elegant of breeds. Powerful, graceful and yet gentle natured,  they are truly impressive creatures. Over time they have been bred to work on farms, pull carts and even serve as warhorses. Their striking features and calm temperament make them one of the most sort after breeds worldwide.

 

Based in the heart of Friesland, we’ll visit different stud farms that are home to some of the most beautiful friesians in the Netherlands, including a 5 times champion. Their black shiny coats and long flowing manes coupled with their elegant movement make them irresistible subjects to photograph.

 

Tim has led equine workshops in France, Iceland, Turkey and Morocco since 2011, and in that time has developed skills that he’ll share with you to ensure you take stunning images. This workshop is a truly unforgettable experience and a real privilege to spend time with these wonderful animals.
